I use this resource for students studying Gaming or Media Studies. It is a worksheet, where students answer a question about staying safe while online gaming before creating a poster demonstrating to others how to stay safe while online gaming.

This is a PowerPoint that I print out and use as a work booklet for students studying Film or Media Studies. It is a 17 page work booklet, where the students explore and research the purpose of UK film classification and the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) film ratings.

This is a film review worksheet for students completing Film or Media Studies. It is a 4 page document. Students have to answer questions about the plot, the characters, the graphics and sound.

I use this resource with the accompanying PowerPoint for CEIAG (Careers Education Information Advice & Guidance) sessions in Media Studies sessions. Students recap the 5 different media sectors and then research a career in the media sector (via the PowerPoint/Group Discussion). Afterwards, the students can complete this worksheet, stating what skills and qualities are needed for the chosen career and how they have been working on these within sessions. Can be easily adapted to suit your subject area.
